MENA stock markets closed Monday’s on mixed notes.
Bahraini shares were little changed on Monday, where the main index BAX fell 0.01 percent to settle at 1434.624 pressured by a slight underperformance in the Industrials sector.
Meanwhile, Qatari equities ended today’s trading session in the red, where the primary benchmark (QSI) fell by 0.85 percent to settle at 10,390.08 Pressured by the significant losses in the all sectors.
Regarding oil news, Oil prices fell on Monday as speculators cut bets to book profits amid weak global cues.
Brent crude futures were down to trade at $60.94 per barrel around 20:30 GMT.
U.S. WTI crude futures were lower to trade at $51.82 per barrel around 20:30 GMT.
Saudi Stocks Exchange:
Saudi stocks finished Monday’s session higher, where the primary index TASI rose by 1.00 percent or 88.79 points to settle at 8,975.63 supported by gains in all sectors.
In stocks news, Amana Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC was the top performer of today's trading session after adding 6.31 percent. On the other hand, Saudi British Bank SJSC was the worst performer of the session as its stock fell by 1.56 percent.
United Arab Emirates Stock Market:
United Arab Emirates' shares finished Monday’s trading session in mixed territories.
Abu Dhabi equities fell on today's trading session, where Abu Dhabi's leading benchmark ADI dropped by 1.09 percent to close at 4,901.076 pressured by losses in Telecommunications Services, Utilities, and Consumer Cyclicals sectors.
In stock news, Abu Dhabi National for Building Materials Co PJSC was the best performer during the session adding 12.11 percent. On the other hand, Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC was the worst performer of the session as it tumbled by 9.20 percent.
In Dubai, the main index DFM advanced on today’s trading session, helped by the improvement in Industrials, Utilities, and Telecomss Sectors.
In stocks news, Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co PSC was the top performer in the session adding 4.51 percent, while Islamic Arab Insurance Co PSC was the worst performer as it fell by 3.86 percent.
Egypt Stock Market:
Egypt's leading benchmark EGX30 rose by 0.22 percent on Monday, to settle at 14,241.20 boosted by gains in most of the sectors, especially Financials, Industrials, and Consumer Cyclicals sectors.
In stock news, El Sewedy Electric Co SAE was the best performer advancing by 2.42 percent, while Madinet Nasr for Housing and Development SAE was the worst performer of the session as it fell by 2.77 percent.
