MENA shares were mixed on Wednesday’s session.
Bahraini shares fell on Wednesday, where the main index BAX dropped by 0.17 percent to settle at 1,534.426 pressured by the losses in Industrials and Telecoms sectors.
In Qatar, Qatari equities ended today’s trading session in the red, as the primary benchmark QSI fell by 0.04 percent to finish the session at 10,025.47 pressured by the losses in the Industrials and Basic Materials, and Energy sectors.
Regarding oil news, U.S. Crude oil rose on Wednesday to trade at $55.84 a barrel at 20:40 GMT while Brent oil rose to trade at $59.92 a barrel.
Saudi Stocks Exchange:
Saudi Arabia's stocks fell on Wednesday. Saudi Arabia Main index (TASI) dropped by 1.35 percent and finished the session at 8,171.17 pressured by the losses in multiple sectors, especially the Utilities and Telecoms sectors.
In stocks news, Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group Company SJSC was the best performer in the session after it’s share rose by 9.01 percent. On the other hand, Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company SJSC was the worst performer of the session after its share slipped by 2.19 percent.
United Arab Emirates Stock Market:
United Arab Emirates' shares were mixed on Wednesday’s session.
Abu Dhabi equities finished today's trading session in the red, where Abu Dhabi's leading benchmark ADI lost by 0.04 percent to settle at 5,128.56 pressured by the losses in Energy, and Financials sectors.
In stock news, Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries PSC was the best performer in the session, after its share rose by 11.00 percent, while Sharjah Group Company PSC was the worst performer after its share tumbled by 10.00 percent.
In Dubai, the main index DFM added 0.24 percent to settle at 2,757.80 boosted by the gains in the Consumer Cyclicals and Telecoms sectors.
In stocks news, Damac Properties Dubai Co PJSC was the best performer as the share rose by 3.47 percent, while Amanat Holdings PJSC was the worst performer as the stock fell by 3.68 percent.
Egypt Stock Market:
Egypt's leading benchmark EGX30 rose by 2.18 percent on Wednesday’s trading session, Egyptian blue chips finished the session at 14,595.51.
In stock news, EFG Hermes Holdings SAE surged by 6.31 percent, followed by Heliopolis Co for Housing and Development SAE share that rose by 5.23 percent.
