INGOT Brokers is the registered business name of INGOT Brokers (AUSTRALIA) Pty Ltd ABN 87159895431, ACN 159895431 and is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), INGOT Brokers holds an Australian Financial Services License No. 428015.

About ASIC

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) is Australia's corporate, markets, and financial services regulator. It is responsible for ensuring that Australia's financial markets are fair and transparent, and supported by confident and informed investors and consumers. ASIC is an independent Commonwealth Government body that sets up under and administers the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act (ASIC Act). ASIC carries out most of its work under the Corporations Act.

ASIC requires licensed financial services providers to meet strict capital requirements and implement strict internal procedures including risk management, staff training, accounting and audits.

Segregated client funds with top tier banks

As stipulated by the client money rules imposed on us by our regulators, INGOT is obliged to segregate all its retail clients’ funds from its own funds. All our client funds are held in separate bank accounts with the world’s top tier banks.

INGOT exercises all due skill, care and diligence in its selection, appointment and periodic review of third parties to which it deposits client money and/or assets. As such all client monies are held in the respective Client Money accounts of our regulated company at Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), Westpac and National Australia Bank (NAB).
