European market report (2017-07-25)

European equities closed higher on Tuesday Session as investors were keeping their eyes on the earning and two-day policy meeting of Federal Reserve, where FTSE, DAX, and CAC edged up by 0.77, 0.45 and 0.65% respectively.
European equities supported by the gains generated by Commodity firms and Banks and the earning which announced by several companies in the region. British business media group reported an increase by more than 40% in their revenues for the first half of this year, and this led its share to rise by 2.7%.
German Business confidence rose to hit new highs for the third month in a row, where business climate index of Munich rose from 115.2 in June to 116.0 in July.
Meanwhile, oil prices rose on Tuesday as KSA decided to stop exporting from next month and as OPEC supported the members to reduce their production.


U.K’s equity closed the session up due to the gains generated by Banking, Mining, and Industrial Metals & Mining sectors, where FTSE 100 rose by 0.77% to settle at 7,434.82.
Rising shares outnumbered declining ones on FTSE100 by 64 to 33 and 4 ended unchanged.
The best performers of the session on the FTSE100 were Antofagasta PLC, which rose 7.46% to trade at 921.79.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Anglo American PLC added 6.07% to end at 1168.91, and Glencore PLC was up 5.76% to 325.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Provident Financial PLC, which fell 5.83% to trade at 2170.45 at the close. British American Tobacco PLC declined 2.40% to end at 5336.34, and WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC was down 2.40% to 247.6.


Germany’s equities were higher today as the gains generated by Insurance; Construction and Basic Resources sectors pushed the shares higher.
Rising shares outnumbered falling ones on DAX30 by 22 to 8 and 0 ended unchanged.
The best performers on the DAX 30 are, Commerzbank AG, who increased by 2.51%, followed by Deutsche Bank AG who gained 2.44% % and Deutsche Boerse AG rose 1.52 %.
The worst performers on the DAX 30 are Prosiebensat 1 Media SE that fell by 1.75%. Meanwhile, Volkswagen AG lost 1.32% and Linde AG ending 0.71% lower.


Moreover, the French stock market also was higher in Tuesday’s session as gains incurred in Healthcare, Finance, and Basic Materials led equities upwards. French benchmark CAC40 closed 0.65% higher to settle at 5,161.08.
Today on the CAC40 the gainers outweighed the losers with 27 gainers, 13 losers, and 0 shares remained unchanged.
The best performers on the CAC 40 were, ArcelorMittal SA that rose by 3.26%, followed by Societe Generale SA that gained 2.60 % and Credit Agricole SA ended the session 2.34% higher.
The worst performers on the CAC 40 are TechnipFMC PLC who fell by 1.83%, while Publicis Groupe SA lost 1.21% and Nokia Oyj falling by 1.16 %.
