• Saudi Arabia Stock Market
Losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Industrial Investment and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower sectors drove the Saudi Arabia’s stock market down by 0.04% to close at 6,988 points on Monday’s trading session.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 97 to 52 and 27 ended unchanged.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share Index were, Saudi Research and Marketing Group SJSC surging by 6.10%, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC adding 0.95 points and Saudi Industrial Investment Group SJSC settling 5.03% up at to 20.95.
The worst performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share Index were, Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co falling by 3.53%, Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Co SJSC dropping 0.20 points and National Agriculture Development Co SJSC ended 2.98% lower at 29.24.
• United Arab Emirates Stock Market
Furthermore the United Arab Emirates’ stock markets closed Tuesday’s session in mixed territories, with DFM General Index rising by 0.11% while ADX General Index fell 0.41%.
The losses in the Insurance, Transport and Finance & Investment sectors drove the index down, however the gains in the Services, Banking and Telecoms sectors reduced the effect of the losses.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Dubai Stock Exchange by 17 to 16 and 5 ended unchanged; on the Abu Dhabi, 20 fell and 5 advanced, while 5 ended unchanged.
The best performers of the session on the DFM General Index were, Gulf Navigation Holding rising by 5.56%, Amanat Holdings adding 0.02 points and Emaar Malls settling 1.56% up at to 2,600.
The worst performers of the session on the General Index were, Arabtec Holding PJSC falling by 5.18%, Drake & Scull International PJSC dropping 0.014 points and Takaful Emarat PSC ended 3.46% lower at 2,230.
On the other hand, the best performers of the session on the Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index were, Rak Ceramics rising by 8.33%, Ad Shipbldg Co adding 2.27% and Waha Capital settling up by 0.57%.
The worst performers were National Corp Tourism Hotels which was down 9.26% to 2.45 in late trade, Gulf Cement Co which lost 5.10% to settle at 0.9300 and Abu Dhabi National for Building Materials Co PJSC which was down 5.08% to 0.560 at the close.
• Egypt Stock Market
Egyptian Stock market index EGX 30 ended in the session in red after falling 2.52 percent to close at 12,648.24 in Monday’s trading session. The index was affected by the central bank’s decision to raise interest rate rates by 2 percent.
Today’s falling shares outnumber the gaining ones by 28 to 1 and 1 ended neutral.
The best performer of the session on the EGX 30 were, Porto Group Holdings Holdings Inc rising by 3.3%, while the other stocks ended in the red zone
The worst performers of the session on the EGX 30 were, Ezz Steel falling by 9.97%, GB Auto dropping 0.22 points and Qalaa Holdings ended 9.57% lower at 0.85.
