•             Saudi Arabia Stock Market

Losses in the Media & Publishing, Multi Investment and Industrial Investment sectors drove the Saudi Arabia’s stock market down by 0.73% to close at 6,936 points. On Tuesday’s trading session.

The losers significantly outnumbered the gainers on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 147 to 11 and 16 ended unchanged.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share Index were, Al Andalus Property Co SJSC surging by 6.12%, Saudi Industrial Development Co SJSC adding 0.30 points and Knowledge Economic City Co SJSC settling 1.73% up at 17.71.

The worst performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share Index were, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC plummeting by 4.59%, AXA Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC dropping 1.05 points and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co SJSC ended 4.35% lower at 13.26.

 

•          United Arab Emirates Stock Market

Furthermore the United Arab Emirates’ stock markets closed lower in Tuesday’s session, with DFM General Index falling by 0.78% reaching a new 3-month low while ADX General Index fell 0.13%.

The losses in the Consumer Staples, Finance & Investment and Banking sectors drove the index down, also the index was effected by the decline in the shares of DXBE Entertainments, the company is facing a pressure because of the hot weather and the upcoming month of Ramadan as these factors will reduce the demand on its Dubai hotels and theme parks.

Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Dubai Stock Exchange by 21 to 5 and 10 ended unchanged; on the Abu Dhabi, 14 fell and 4 advanced, while 43 ended unchanged.

The best performers of the session on the DFM General Index were, Amanat Holdings PJSC rising by 2.68%, National Central Cooling Company PJSC adding 0.03 points and Emaar Malls Group PJSC settling 1.15% up at 2,630.

The worst performers of the session on the DFM General Index were, Dubai Financial Market PJSC falling by 3.57%, Gulf General Investments Co PSC dropping 0.013 points and DXB Entertainments PJSC ended 2.18% lower at 0.807.

On the other hand, the best performers of the session on the Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index were, Dana Gas PJSC rising by 2.38%, Arkan Building Materials Company PJSC adding 0.01 points and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC settling up by 0.68%.

The worst performers of the session on the Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index were, Commercial Bank International PSC by 5.06%, United Arab Bank PJSC dropping 0.06 points and Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company PSC ended 2.97% lower at 0.98.

•          Egypt Stock Market

Egypt stock market ended its negative territories and rebounded 1.1 percent after falling 2.5 percent in the previous session due to the unexpected increase in interest rates by the central bank of Egypt

Today’s gainers outnumber the losers by 20 to 9 and 1 ended flat.

The best performer of the session on the EGX 30 were, Amer Group Holding Co SAE surging by 10%, Porto Group Holding SAE adding 0.03 points and Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Co SAE settling 4.69% higher at 18.97.

The worst performers of the session on the EGX 30 were, EFG Hermes Holdings SAE shading 5.40%, Qalaa Holdings SAE dropping 0.03 points and Juhayna Food Industries SAE ended 1.44% lower at 8.20.
