• Saudi Arabia Stock Market
Losses in the Building & Construction, Multi Investment and Industrial Investment sectors drove the Saudi Arabia’s stock market down by 0.43% to close at 6,901 points On Thursday’s trading session.
The losers significantly outnumbered the gainers on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 113 to 29 and 36 ended unchanged.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share Index were, Saudi Cement Company which rose 2.38% or 1.25 points to trade at 53.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Transport & Investment Co added 2.37% or 1.25 points to end at 54.00 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company was up 2.11% or 3.00 points to 145.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share Index were, Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance which fell 6.08% or 0.45 points to trade at 6.95 at the close. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co declined 4.56% or 0.75 points to end at 15.70 and Nama Chemicals Co. was down 4.17% or 0.75 points to 17.25.
• United Arab Emirates Stock Market
Furthermore the United Arab Emirates’ stock markets closed lower in Thursday’s session, with DFM General Index falling by 0.73% reaching a new 3-month low while ADX General Index fell 0.34%.
The losses in the Consumer Staples, Insurance and Finance & Investment sectors drove the index down.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Dubai Stock Exchange by 26 to 8 and 2 ended unchanged; on the Abu Dhabi, 22 fell and 4 advanced, while 7 ended unchanged.
The best performers of the session on the DFM General Index were, AJMAN BANK PJSC which rose 1.71% or 0.020 points to trade at 1.190 at the close. Meanwhile, National Central Cooling Co. added 1.60% or 0.030 points to end at 1.900 and Dubai Financial Market PJSC was up 0.94% or 0.010 points to 1.070 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session on the DFM General Index were, Gulf General Investments Company which fell 5.07% or 0.019 points to trade at 0.356 at the close. Dubai National Insurance declined 4.06% or 0.110 points to end at 2.600 and Deyaar Development PJSC was down 3.50% or 0.017 points to 0.469.
On the other hand, the best performers of the session on the Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index were, Nat Bk Qaiwain which rose 14.44% to 3.09, Gulf Cement Co which was up 4.35% to settle at 0.9600 and Union Natl Bk which gained 1.63% to close at 4.990.
The worst performers of the session on the Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index were, National Bank of Fujairah PJSC which was down 9.94% to 2.99 in late trade, Commercial Bank International which lost 9.52% to settle at 1.520 and Ad Aviation which was down 7.06% to 2.500 at the close.
• Egypt Stock Market
Egypt stock market rose by 1.63 percent or 209.98 points settling at 13,093.42, slightly below its 5 days high, the large gains in Industrials, Telecommunications Services and Financials led the rise.
The session’s gainer outnumbers the loser by more than three to one with 20 gainers, 6 losers and 4 flat shares.
The best performer of the session on the EGX 30 were, Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding SAE rising by 5.41%, Telecom Egypt Co SAE adding 0.48 points and Juhayna Food Industries SAE settling 1.63% higher at 8.60.
The worst performers of the session on the EGX 30 were, Oriental Weavers Carpet Co. SAE shading 2.93%, Heliopolis Co for Housing and Development SAE dropping 0.62 points and Egyptian Resorts Co SAE ended 2.0% lower at 7.61.
