MENA market report (2017-07-25)

Mena Equities were mixed on Tuesday’s session, where Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Egypt equities ended the session in the green while KSA and Dubai equities closed the session in the red.
Saudi equities fell in today’s session after National shipping CO reported a significant decrease in their net profit by SAR 324.2 million to 153.9% for the second quarter for this year, its stock sank by 5.6%. Also, Al Yamaha reported a decline in their quarterly net profit by SAR 50.7 million and its stock fell by 4.9%. However, National Gas and Industrialization reported a rise in their net profit by 14.8 million riyals, and this led its share to increase by 0.3%.
UAE equities were mixed as DFMG fell by 0.13% while ADI rose by 0.04%. DFMG fell as the stock of Emaar properties decreased by 0.4%. However, the shares of Islamic Arab Insurance and Dubai Islamic insurance rose by 3.5 and 13.7% respectively. On the other hand, in Abu Dhabi stock Exchange, Telecommunication firm du reported that their quarterly net profit was approximately unchanged from a year ago, their net profit is AED 446.6 million, its stock rose by 0.5%.
Meanwhile, in Qatar, QSI index increased by 0.16% to close the session up at 9,594.51, due to the gains generated by Healthcare and Utility sectors. Medicare group QSC was the best performer in the session where its stock rose by 3.72 at 86.50, while the most active stock Qatar Gas Transport was the worst performer which its stock declined by 1.79% at 18.15 following the reports that their profit for the first half dropped by QAR 92 million. 
Kuwait stocks were higher today as the gains generated by Telecommunication services pushed the shares higher, where KW15 edged up by 0.53% at 953.60. The best performer in the session was Burgan Bank SAKP, where its share rose by 3.38%, while Kuwait Projects Company Holding KSCP  was the worst performer as its stock declined by 1.32% at 375.00.
Elsewhere, Omani stocks were up today as MSI rose by 0.05% at 4997.77 due the gains generated by Telecommunication Services sector. Galfar Engineering and Contracting SAOG was the best performer as its stock increased by 1.37% to close up at 0.074, while Al Madina Insurance Co SAOG was the worst performer as its stock fell by 2.16% at 0.112.

KSA Stock Exchange:

KSA stocks fell on Monday as losses in the Petrochemicals, Retail and Multi Investment sectors pushed shares lower, Tasi dropped by 0.34% at 7227.96
Today’s losers on Tadawul all shares outnumbered the gainers with 108 losers, 52 gainers, and 15 stocks were left unchanged.
The top performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share, Saudi Research and Marketing Group SJSC that surged 9.62% to trade at 58.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing and Packaging Co SJSC advanced by 8.88% to end at 18.88 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC was up 4.29% to 17.00 at close.
The worst performers of the session were Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Co SJSC that tumbled by 6.42% to trade at 12.82 at the close. National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia JSC dropped 5.58% to end at 33.00, and Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co lost 4.90% to the last settle at 25.25.

UAE Stock Exchange:

United Arab Emirates Equities were mixed in today’s session.
Equities in Dubai ended the session lower as DFM index fell by 0.13% to trade at 3594.62 while ADX rose by 0.04% to trade at 4541.94 due to gains generated by Transports, Insurance and Telecoms led shares higher, while the losses caused by Services, Banking, and Consumer Staples sectors led shares lower.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Dubai Stock Exchange by 15 to 9, and 12 shares remained unchanged; on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, 10 Declined, 7 advanced, while 44 ended unchanged.
The top performers of the session on the DFM General were Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co PSC which surged by 13.66% to trade at 1.040 at the close. Meanwhile, Islamic Arab Insurance Co PSC rose by 3.54% to end at 1.040, and Aramex PJSC added 1.89% to 5.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shuaa Capital PSC, which tumbled 2.94% to trade at 1.320 at the close. Dubai Financial Market PJSC declined 2.54% to end 1.150, and Drake and Scull International PJSC was down 2.42 % to 0.403.
The top gainers on the ADX General were Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics PSC which surged by 5.15% to trade at 2.45 at the close. Abu Dhabi National for Building Materials Co PJSC was up 4.08% to settle at 0.51, RAK Properties PJSC gained 1.49% to close at 0.68.
The worst performers were AXA Green Crescent Insurance Co PJSC who tumbled by 9.33% to trade late in the session at 0.68, Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries PSC lost 4.17% to settle at 1.36, and United Arab Bank PJSC declined by 3.45% to trade at 1.40 at the close.

Egypt Stock Exchange:

The Egyptian stock market fell on Tuesday's session as losses in the Basic Materials and Financials sectors pressured the equities, where Egyptian index EGX30 trading lower by 0.09% to trade at 13,740.72 at the close.
Today’s losers on EGX30 outweighed the gainers by 15 to 12 and 3 flat shares.
The best performers of the session on the EGX 30 were Qalaa Holdings SAE that added 4.95%, while Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding SAE added 1.45% and El Sewedy Electric Co SAEand was up 1.35%.
The worst performers of the session on the EGX 30 were Ezz Steel Co SAE who declined by 3.34%, followed by Amer Group Holding Co SAE that fell by 2.94% and Egyptian Iron and Steel Co SAE ended the session 2.68% lower.
