Tokyo stock exchange were closed due to Autumnal Equinox Day Holiday.

The mainland Chinese markets finished today’s session lower. The Shanghai Composite fell by 0.98 percent to settle at 2,977.07 pressued by the losses in all sectors.

Hong Kong’s main index Hang Seng fell on today’s session and settled at 26,222.40. The losses in all sectors have weighted on the stocks.

Meanwhile, South Korea main index (Kospi) rose by 0.01 percent on Monday’s session, helped by an improvement in Utilities sectors to end the session at 2,091.70. 

Australian Stock Market:

Australia’s S&P/ASX200 index rose on Monday and finished the session at 6,749.7, gains from all sectors boosted the shares.

In stocks news, IOOF Holdings Ltd was the best performer of the session as the share advanced by 12.02 percent, while Nearmap Ltd was the worst performer after its share dropped by 4.12 percent.

In the Forex market, the Aussie rose against its U.S. counterpart to trade at 0.66773at 09:00 GMT.
