Asian shares were Mixed on Tuesday.
The mainland Chinese markets finished today’s session higher. The Shanghai Composite rose by 0.28 percent to settle at 2,985.34 supported by the gains in Consumer Non-Cyclicals and Technology sectors.
Hong Kong’s main index Hang Seng rose on today’s session and settled at 26,281. The gains in Healthcare, Telecoms and Utilities sectors boosted the shares.
Meanwhile, South Korea main index (Kospi) rose by 0.45 percent on Tuesday’s session, helped by an improvement in Utilities, Consumer Non-Cyclicals and Technology sectors to end the session at 2,101.04.
Japanese Stock Market:
Japanese stocks rose on Tuesday, as the primary index NIKKEI 225 finished the session at 22,098.84. The Utilities, Telecoms, and Consumer Non-Cyclicals sectors were the sectors that gained the most profits.
In stocks news, Suzuki Motor Corp was the best performer in today’s trading session, as its share rose by 4.19 percent, while Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd was the worst performer and ended the session 5.64 percent lower.
In the Forex pace, the Japanese Yen fell against the Greenback and traded at 107.685 at 12:00 GMT.
Australian Stock Market:
Australia’s S&P/ASX200 index fell on Tuesday and finished the session at 6,748.90, losses from Technology and Telecoms sectors were the most losers.
In stocks news, Clinuvel Pharmaceuticals Ltd was the best performer of the session as the share advanced by 4.32 percent, while WiseTech Global Ltd was the worst performer after its share dropped by 4.89 percent.
In the Forex market, the Aussie rose against its U.S. counterpart to trade at 0.67917 at 12:00 GMT.
