MENA shares were mixed on Monday’s session.
Bahraini shares fell on Monday, where the main index BAX dropped by 0.20 percent to settle at 1,530.75pressured by the losses in Industrials and Financials sectors.
In Qatar, Qatari equities ended today’s trading session in the red, as the primary benchmark QSI fell by 0.30 percent to finish the session at 9,787.77 pressured by the losses in the Industrials and Financials, and Utilities sectors.
Regarding oil news, U.S. Crude oil rose on Monday to trade at $53.70 a barrel at 20:40 GMT while Brent oil rose to trade at $58.31 a barrel.
Saudi Stocks Exchange:
Saudi Arabia's stocks rose on Monday. Saudi Arabia Main index (TASI) advanced by 0.20 percent and finished the session at 8,257.86 boosted by the gains in multiple sectors, especially the Utilities and Consumer Non-Cyclicals sectors.
In stocks news, Mobile Telecommunications Co was the best performer in the session after it’s share rose by 5.19 percent. On the other hand, Company for Cooperative Insurance SJSC was the worst performer of the session after its share slipped by 2.19 percent.
United Arab Emirates Stock Market:
United Arab Emirates' shares were higher on Monday’s session.
Abu Dhabi equities finished today's trading session in the green, where Abu Dhabi's leading benchmark ADI gained 0.58 percent to settle at 4,997.224 boosted by the gains in Consumer Non-Cyclicals, Energy, and Financials sectors.
In stock news, National Takaful Company PJSC was the best performer in the session, after its share rose by 13.92 percent, while Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company PSC was the worst performer after its share tumbled by 9.43 percent.
In Dubai, the main index DFM added 0.49 percent to settle at 2,729.04 boosted by the gains in the Consumer Cyclicals and Healthcare sectors.
In stocks news, Islamic Arab Insurance Co PSC was the best performer as the share rose by 3.83 percent, while Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance Co PSC was the worst performer as the stock fell by 4.60 percent.
Egypt Stock Market:
Egypt's leading benchmark EGX30 fell by 0.35 percent on Monday’s trading session, Egyptian blue chips finished the session at 14,291.03.
In stock news, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt SAE surged by 7.08 percent, followed by Heliopolis Co for Housing and Development SAE share that rose by 3.47 percent.
