MENA shares ended today’s trading session in the mixed territories, while the Saudi Market rose sharply to add 1.01 percent.
Bahraini stocks rose to close the session up where the main Bahraini index gained 0.37 percent or 5.17 points to end higher at 1,413.206 boosted by the gains in Financials shares. The liquidity in the market was very lacking as three shares rose, five shares ended down while 33 stocks remained flat.
Moreover, Qatari equities closed Tuesday’s trading session on positive notes as the primary Qatari benchmark advanced by 1.71 percent to end the session up at 10,105 supported by the gains which have been generated by all sectors.
In oil pace, oil prices rose on Monday to end the session up, where U.S. Crude Oil gained to settle up at $60.02 a barrel, and Brent Oil closed higher at $68.01 a barrel.
However, The U.S. crude oil fell on Tuesday to trade at $58.39 a barrel while Brent oil rose to trade at $67.79 a barrel at 20:00 GMT.
Saudi Stocks Exchange:
Saudi shares ended today’s session in the green as TASI added by 1.01 percent or 87.45 points to close up at 8,766.33 supported by the gains in all stocks.
Looking at individual shares, Red Sea International company was the biggest gainer as its share added 4.38 percent followed by Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance as its stock advanced by 3.63 percent.
On the flip side, Al Inma Bans was the biggest loser as its stock fell by 2.88 percent while Tihama Advertising was the second biggest loser as its stock tumbled by 2.32 percent.
United Arab Emirates Stock Market:
United Arab Emirates’ shares closed Wednesday’s trading session in the red territories.
Abu Dhabi equities closed today’s session lower, with Abu Dhabi’s leading benchmark ADI declined by 0.34 percent or 17.35 points to close at 5,109, pressured by the losses in Industrials and Financials sectors.
In stock news, Methaq Takaful Company was the worst performer during the session losing 5.63 percent followed by National Marine Dredging which fell by 2.93 percent.
In Dubai, the index fell by 0.03 percent or 0.82 points, pressured by the losses in the Healthcare Sector.
In stocks news, Ajman Bank PJSC was the top performer in the session surging by 2.33 percent followed by Amlak Finance PJSC after its stock added 1.89 Percent.
Egypt Stock Market:
Egypt’s leading benchmark EGX30 fell by 0.57 percent on today’s session, to trade at 14,554.66 at the close, pressured by the losses in all sectors.
In stock news, Cairo for Investing and the Real States was the top performer adding 1.50 percent followed by Juhaina Food Industries which rose by 0.74 percent. On the flip side, Elsewedy Electric Co was the session’s worst performer losing 4.56 percent.
