• Saudi Arabia Stock Market
The relatively large gains in Consumer Non-Cyclicals, Energy and Consumer Cyclicals left Tadawul’s shares higher, where the Saudi stock market index Tadawul All Share Index settled higher by 0.72% or 48.91 points at 6,870.62 slightly below the session’s high at 8,880.30.
Today’s gainers significantly outnumbered the losers by 87 shares, with 115 gainers, 28 losers and 31 unchanged.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share Index were, Saudi Fisheries Co SJSC surging by 10.11%, MetLife AIG ANB for Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC adding 1.10 points and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC settling 4.78% higher at 16.39.
The worst performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share Index were, Saudi British Bank SJSC falling by 1.33%, Riyad REIT dropping 0.15 points and Al Hammadi Company for Development and Investment SJSC ended 1.03% lower at 38.39.
• United Arab Emirates Stock Market
Furthermore, the United Arab Emirates equities were higher with very little lossers due the large gains in Consumer Cyclicals, Industrials, and Healthcare and Utilities sectors with very small to no declines in the other sectors.
Both United Arab Emirates stock market indices ended in the green, with Dubai Financial Market General Index rising by 0.67% or 22.15 point to 3,340.27 and Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index gaining 0.2% or 8.84 settling at 4,501.76.
Moreover on Dubai Financial Market General Index and Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index the gains outnumbered the losers; however there were relatively large number of unchanged shares, with 19 gainers, 3 losers and 14 unchanged on Dubai Financial Market General Index and 12 gainers, 3 losers and 46 flat shares on Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index.
The best performers of the session on the DFM General Index were, Takaful Emarat Insurance PJSC rising by 4.87%, Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company PSC adding 0.031 points and Arabtec Holding PJSC settling 4.03% up at 0.775.
The worst performers of the session on the DFM General Index were, Gulf General Investments Co PSC falling by 2.17%, Dar Al Takaful PJSC dropping 0.02 points and Dubai Investments PJSC ended 0.48% lower at 2.070.
On the other hand, the best performers of the session on the Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index were, National Bank of Ras Al-Khaimah PSC surging by 9.30%, Waha Capital PJSC adding 8.84 points and Abu Dhabi National for Building Materials Co PJSC settling up by 3.64% at 0.57.
The worst performers of the session on the Abu Dhabi Exchange General Index were, Agthia Group PJSC falling by 3.27%, Bank of Sharjah PJSC dropping 0.01 points and First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC ended 0.45% lower at 10.95.
• Egypt Stock Market
Gains in Consumer Non-Cyclicals and Consumer Cyclicals led the Egyptian shares slightly higher while losses in Basic Materials and Telecommunications Services kept these gains limited, The Egyptian stock market index EGX30 rose by 0.24% or 31.22 ending higher at 13,239.16 after its decline earlier in its trading session.
Despite its gain, the falling stocks outnumbered the gainers in EGX30 with 11 gainers, 18 losers and one flat share.
The best performer of the session on the EGX 30 were, Porto Group Holding SAE rising by 5.56%, Amer Group Holding Co SAE adding 0.01 points and Heliopolis Co for Housing and Development SAE settling 2.18% higher at 26.66.
The worst performers of the session on the EGX 30 were, Pioneers Holding Company for Financial Investments SAE shading 1.82%, Cairo for Oil and Soap Co SAE dropping 0.2 points and Egyptian Iron and Steel Co SAE ended 1.71% lower at 4.64
